The National Archives’ Board
The National Archives’ Board is the key strategic advisory body of The National Archives. It is made up of the Chief Executive and Keeper, the eight executive directors, the Chair of The National Archives’ Board, and four further non-executive board members.
The Board meets 10 times a year and minutes are available online. Two of the non-executive board members also sit on The National Archives’ Audit and Risk Committee, where they are joined by an independent member of the Committee.

These minutes provide details of what takes place at meetings of The National Archives’ Board (previously called the Management Board).
In line with the government’s agenda for greater transparency, detailed minutes of each meeting have been published from January 2020. Summaries are available for meetings prior to this.
