Description | Folio 94. Letter from George Spencer, Clerk to the Guardians of the Keighley Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, acknowledging receipt of their letter dated the 24 January, asking to be informed of the cause of the increase of the numbers of persons relieved in the union in the third and fourth week of the quarter. This was due to smallpox and scarlet fever. Annotation: asking if the letter should be sent to the inspector [H B Farnall, Poor Law Inspector]. Paper Number: 4308/1852 Poor Law Union Number 571.
