Description | Folios 224-225. Audit report form 'Statement of the Auditor', from Gilbert Micklethwaite, District Auditor for West Yorkshire, for the half year ended 25 March 1853, on the books kept by Bernard Green, Relieving Officer, Keighley Poor Law Union. Out-Relief list: comment that the relieving officer only pays the poor of the parish of Howarth fortnightly instead of weekly. Enclosed is an extract from 'Statement of the Auditor' of Gilbert Micklethwaite, District Auditor for West Yorkshire, for the half year ended 25 March 1853, in reference to the books of Bernard Green, Relieving Officer, Keighley Poor Law Union: 'The Officer only pays the Poor of the township of Haworth fortnightly instead of weekly'.
