Description | Folio 271. Draft letter/internal note from Lord Courtenay, Poor Law Board, stating he thinks it sufficient to inform Mr Ferrand [Bernard Ferrand] that Mr Farrall [Harry Bernard Farrall], Poor law Inspector, met with the guardians on 19 October, conferring in detail on the statutory measures adopted or proposed by them. With regard to the Bingley district, to which Mr Ferrand's letter principally relates, he should be informed that a complete inspection has been done (referring him to paragraph 4 of Mr Farrall's report of 24 October, marked by crosses). Annotated: comment to Lord Courtenay, concurring with his comments, and pointing out that said paragraph not marked as indicated in his letter, but correctly identifying paragraph. Also annotated: comment to correct and prepare letter. Poor Law Union Number 571. Counties: Yorkshire West Riding. |
