Description Folio 318. Letter from George Spencer, Clerk to the Guardians of the Keighley Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, acknowledging the Board's response to the guardians suggestion for changes to the districts on the death of Mr Bernard Green the Relieving Officer. Given the contemplated change in the law, the guardians have decided to postpone any such decisions for one month until they have had the opportunity to assess the proposed changes in the law. The guardians have appointed Bernard Green junior as temporary Relieving Officer for one month. The guardians seek the approval of the Board. Paper Number: 6271/1854. Poor Law Union Number 571.
