Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to George Spencer, Clerk to the Guardians of the Keighley Poor Law Union, acknowledging receipt of his letter of 26 July regarding the recent report of the district auditor. A copy of his letter was sent to the auditor for his observations. The Board have now received the auditor's reply and forward it on to him [not included]. They hope that at future audits there will not be so many defects in his books. Paper Number: 30948/1854. Poor Law Union Number 571. Counties: Yorkshire West Riding. |
