Description | Folio 735. Letter from Bernard Green, Relieving Officer, to the Poor Law Board, in reply to their letter of 9 June, 21027/1855. He states that Robert Bradley, his wife and 7 children were relieved by a discretionary order from the Settle Poor Law Union. He was ordered to give them relief although Bradley's means were uncertain. Edward Walton his wife and 8 children were given relief when Walton was out of employment. When the relief was given he was ill and so was one of his children. Annotated: await the answer from the other officers. Paper Number: 24213/1855. Poor Law Union Number 571.
