Description | Folio 738. Letter from Edward Sutcliffe, Relieving Officer, to the Poor Law Board, acknowledging their letter of 13 June asking to provide an explanation respecting his application and report book not being properly kept. He was not aware of any irregularities apart from his use of the pauper labour list. He understood that this would have been done by the clerk. Paper Number: 24859/1855. See also: 22902/1855.
