Description | Folio 838. Letter from T Micklethwaite, District Auditor for West Yorkshire, to the Poor Law Board. He states that the case against Edward Sutcliffe, late Relieving Officer in the Keighley Poor Law Union was heard before the magistrates who issued a distress warrant to be levied upon Sutcliffe's goods and for him to be imprisoned in the Wakefield House of Correction for three months. Sutcliffe did not appear and is believed to be out of the country. Paper Number: 49412/1855. Poor Law Union Number 571. Counties: Yorkshire West Riding. |
