Description | Folio 333. A letter from Charles Bond, Clerk to the Axminster Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, Somerset House, London regarding a letter of the 13 June 1846 from Mr Chadwick He states that he had asked the overseers of Lyme Regis for information regarding the premises formerly used as the workhouse and he notes that the Commission had received a copy of their reply confirming that the rent is paid by the overseers, who record the payment in their parish accounts. 6979/A/46. 7506/A/45.
