Description | Folio 337. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Mr J Jolliffe, Surgeon of Axminster. It deals with his letter of 24 June 1846 in which he asks the Commission to provide him with their decision in the case of Ann Clark. The Commission refers to its letter of the 10 June 1846, a copy of which was sent to the guardians, and forwards an extract from that letter as it relates to the opinion expressed by the Commission which, unfortunately, is that in the case of Ann Clark a charge neglect be preferred against Mr Jolliffe.
