Description | Folio 339. A draft of a letter from the Poor Law Commission to Chas Bond, Clerk to the Axminster Poor Law Union, with regard to his letter of the 25 June on the subject of the issue of a return of medical appointments for the current year, 1846. The Commission states that the list of officers in the current year, issued by the Axminster Poor Law Union on the 19 June, contains several alterations to the existing medical arrangements. It points out that it should have received details of the appointment of medical officers when they were made in March 1846 and it requests that the union now enter details of those appointments on the enquiry forms, enclosed with the letter, which should then be signed and returned to the Commission. Paper Number: 7721/A/1846 Poor Law Union Number 76. Counties: Devon and Dorset. |
