Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to James Richards and his wife, Hannah Richards, of Kilmington acknowledging receipt of their letter of 7 November 1846 asking for relief. The Commissioners are unable to interfere in any individual case but have sent a copy of the letter to the Axminster Poor Law Union for their consideration. Paper Number: 12526/A/1846.
