Description | Folio 312. Letter from W and E Willoby [William Willoby and Edward Willoby], Clerks to the Guardians of the Berwick-upon-Tweed Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, regarding an account received by Alexander Kirkwood, Medical Officer of the Berwick-upon-Tweed District, for a fee of £3 for treating a fracture of collarbone, shoulder blade and two ribs in the case of Peter Hollands residing in Wallace Green [Berwick-upon-Tweed]. The Guardians ask for sanction of the expense as required by article 181 of the General Consolidated Order. Enclosed: account from Alexander Kirkwood. Annotated: fee sanctioned.
