Description | Folios 356-359. Letter from John Paxton [Medical Officer of the Norham District, East Division] to the Poor Law Board regarding his neglect of duty. He expresses regrets and explains the reasons behind his neglect and his dissatisfaction with the way his district has been run, and he claims that if he had been aware of the procedures for dividing districts, and the procedures had been adhered to, errors would not have occurred.
