Description | Folio 360. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to John Paxton, Medical Officer of the Norhamshire District, East Division, turning down his complaint about the division of the Norhamshire District, pointing out that he accepted his appointment, and that any objection should have been made at the time of his appointment. The Poor Law Board states that the division is in accordance with the regulations for deciding the size of a given district. The Poor Law Board accepts his regrets. Paper Number: 34030/1849. Poor Law Union Number 325. Counties: Town and County of Berwick-upon-Tweed and Northumberland. |
