Description | Folio 367. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to W and E Willoby [William Willoby and Edward Willoby], Clerks to the Guardians of the Berwick-upon-Tweed Poor Law Union, regarding the case of Ann Marshall, a lunatic inmate of the Berwick-upon-Tweed workhouse, and the decision to retain her there as she is not found to be dangerous. The guardians are requested to reconsider this decision as the Poor Law Board finds it unsatisfactory and insufficient and asks them to consider sending her to a lunatic asylum.
