Description | Folio 385. Letter from W and E Willoby [William Willoby and Edward Willoby], Clerks to the Guardians of the Berwick-upon-Tweed Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board regarding their letter received 26 April 1849 [9150/1849] concerning alteration of the union workhouse. The guardians state that the reason for the delay in answering is a consequence of the low attendance at the meetings of the guardians, and only now has it been possible to have the form of order signed by a majority of the board. Annotated: order for the alteration to be issued. Paper Number: 11517/1850. Poor Law Union Number 325. Counties: Town and County of Berwick-upon-Tweed and Northumberland. |
