Description | Folios 548-549. Letter from W and E Willoby, [William Willoby and Edward Willoby] Clerks to the Guardians of Berwick-upon-Tweed Poor Law Union to the Poor Law Board regarding the surcharge against the Guardians and asking if, in the event of non-payment by Mr Donaldson, the Guardians may withhold this amount from his salary. In view of his conduct, the Guardians had already withheld £10 from his salary. Annotated: Board will issue an order deducting £7 from the total amount. Matter should be settled between the parties concerned. Paper Number: 57118/1850. Poor Law Union Number 325. Counties: Town and County of Berwick-upon-Tweed and Northumberland. |
