Description | Folios 76-79. Letter from Philip Gurdon, Rector of Cranworth, Shipdham, Norfolk, concerning the emigration of James Hubbard and his family to New York [America]; everyone is anxious to begin preparations, but Mr J D Pinnock says he is no longer the emigration agent, and nothing has been heard from anyone else. Enclosed is a form [2 copies] 'A List and Description of the Persons Desirous of Emigrating...' signed J Gurdon, Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, to J D Pinnock Emigration Agent. Emigration of James Hubbard, Labourer, age 42, wife Ann Hubbard age 33, sons James Hubbard 13, Francis Hubbard 7, daughters Mary Ann Hubbard 14, Lydia Hubbard 12, Harriet Hubbard 11, Maria Hubbard and Hannah Hubbard 9, Charlotte Hubbard 8, Jane Hubbard 2 and Eliza Hubbard, an infant.
