Description | Folio 116. Draft letter from Edwin Chadwick, Secretary to the Poor Law Commission, to Samuel King, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, acknowledging his letter of 3 April proposing that the granting of relief to out-paupers should follow the reading of the minutes. The guardians doubtless had sufficient reason to come to this decision and therefore we have no hesitation in sanctioning it. Paper Number: 3111/A/1837. Poor Law Union Number 302.
