Description | Folio 273. Draft letter from Poor Law Commission to Samuel King, Clerk to the Guardians of Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, headed [Particular] Papers relating to proposed Sale. The Commissioners acknowledge the several letters of 11 December, 16 December and 20 February and regret to state that they have been and are still precluded from proceeding with the proposed sale of East Dereham Workhouse in consequence of the Sale Requests No's 1 and 2 such were transmitted to this office having been mislaid. To prevent any further delay with the matter the Commissioners will thank you to forward copies of such requests; the forms of which are enclosed. Paper Number: 517/A/1838, 1497/A/1838 and 1755/A/1838. Poor Law Union Number 302. Counties: Norfolk. |
