Description | Folios 330-331. Letter from Samuel King, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, to Edwin Chadwick, Secretary to the Poor Law Commission, concerning the sale of East Dereham Workhouse. The guardians are again requesting permission to alter the first condition of sale as 'the one enclosed - the Estate having been granted to the Parish of East Dereham from the Crown'. Annotated: 'in the 14th line the words inserted 'and the Crown Officers of the Woods and Forests'...'. Paper Number: 5428/A/1838. Poor Law Union Number 302. Counties: Norfolk. |
