Letter from Samuel King, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, to Edwin Chadwick, Secretary to the Poor Law Commission, enclosing an agreement between the guardians and Samuel Beck for a valuation of the parish of Little Dunham and requesting approval from the Commissioners. Annotated: what is the order for? Valuation acreage 1868. Terms 3d per acre on land and farm buildings and £1 10s per cent on other rateable property. Paper Number: 5840/A/1838.
