Description | Folios 24-25. Letter from Poor Law Commission to John Godber, Hucknall Torkard in reply to his letter of the 10 April 1835 in which the final draft states that they have more important business to attend to than that of a Parish Vestry meeting. The second page is the first draft of their reply which is then scored out and a note at the top says See opposite page. Note at side states Mr Lewin and is then crossed through. Poor Law Union Number 334. Counties: Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. |
