Description | Folio 294. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Samuel Doubleday [Solicitor, of Nottingham]. They acknowledge receipt of his letter of 28 June 1837 and form number 2, enquiring if the manner in which the property is described is satisfactory. However, the proposed mode of describing the property is not satisfactory as the situation of the property is not clearly shown. They suggest that the property may be described in the same manner as it would be in a deed, concisely stating the nature of the property, the situation and the names of the occupants. The form is to be returned with the letter. [not included] Paper Number: 5465/C/1837. Poor Law Union Number 334. Counties: Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. |
