Description | Folio 337. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Samuel Doubleday [Solicitor], of Nottingham. They acknowledge receipt of his letter dated 30 September 1837 concerning a request from the guardians of the Basford Poor Law Union relating to the sale of property in the parish of Lambley. They say that the request of the parish officers on this subject must be forwarded to them before they can take any steps in the matter. They add that care should be taken that the directions contained in the margin of the request 'should be strictly attended to previously to its being sent' to the Commissioners. Paper Number: 8128/1837. Poor Law Union Number 334. Counties: Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. |
