Description | Folios 46-47. Letter from William Booth, Land Agent, Chediston, Halesworth, Suffolk, to Blything Hundred, Suffolk regarding a number of questions he would like put to the Directors, Guardians or Clerk to the Blything Hundred House. The questions concern payments to retired governors, payments from poor rates to guardians before appointment, offers made to surgeons, any instances of hair cutting or shaving of female heads, instances of confinement in the dungeon or black hole, instances of suicide and reports of such in journals, and to whom coal is delivered and charged.
