Description	Folios 58-59. Letter from George Robinson, Chediston, near Halesworth, Suffolk, to the Poor Law Commission, referring to the 6th and last sections of the List of Queries sent by the Poor Law Commission to each parish in the Blything Hundred. He states that he called a town meeting and presented the parishioners with the instructions to decide whether they should fill in the answers themselves or send to the Committee. Although it was unanimously agreed not to send them to the Committee this led to trouble and expense to each parish, and the acting guardians fined the overseer at the last quarterly meeting. He asks whether they can do this and whether the situation could be corrected. Annotated: draft letter - 'In reply to your letter of the 24 October I am sending to you two more copies of the queries and request that one be filled up by the offices of your parish and the other by those sitting at the Incorporated House and that they may be returned to the Board at your earliest convenience'.
