Letter from Stephen Clissold, Rector of Wrentham, to the Poor Law Commission, asking for information about qualifications for guardians as owner, occupier or resident in one parish, and whether churchwardens may be guardians. If the latter, they may be responsible for passing their own accounts: but if churchwardens are not eligible, there may not be adequate representation from all small parishes.
