Description | Folios 270-271. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Harry White, Clerk to the Guardians of the Blything Poor Law Union, replying to his letter of 16 September 1835, enclosing an order [not included] for the Board to alter and enlarge the Blything Poor Law Union Workhouse, and an application form to the Exchequer Loans Board for an advance of £700 for defraying the expenses of such enlargement. He is asked to get the form signed by the Guardians and returned to the Commission, who will consent to the advance and forward it to the Exchequer Loans Board. Poor Law Union Number 432.
