Description | Folio 476. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Harry White, Clerk to the board of guardians of the Blything Poor Law Union, acknowledging receipt of his letter of 22 December 1835, and the minutes of the board of guardians meeting. The Commission thanks the guardians for their prompt and spirited action that was taken to prevent a riot at Bulcamp Workhouse, and state that [Dr James Philip Kay, Assistant Poor Law Commissioner, will attend the board meeting. Poor Law Union Number 432. Counties: Suffolk. |
