Description | Folios 60-61. Report by Edward Gulson, Assistant Poor Law Commissioner, on his visit on 8 June 1847 to the workhouses and schools in the Truro Poor Law Union (St Clement, St Mary and Probus). The form includes comments on the adequacy of the workhouses, provision for the sick and infectious cases, the management of the workhouse school, provision for vagrants, inspections by the visiting committee, numbers of inmates, display of regulations, reports to the Commission, appointment of officers, keeping of account books and adherence to regulations.
