Description | Folio 382. Letter from Harry Chester, Committee of Council on Education, Privy Council Office, Downing Street, [London] to Viscount Ebrington MP [Secretary to the Poor Law Board], responding to Mr Lumley's [William Golden Lumley, Assistant Secretary to the Poor Law Board] letter of 3 January 1849. He writes that Mr Ruddock [Joshua Ruddock], HM Inspector of Workhouse Schools, intends to visit the two schools of Truro Poor Law Union on 12 and 13 February 1849.
