Description | Folios 396-397. Printed letter from W G Lumley [William Golden Lumley], Assistant Secretary to the Poor Law Board to the Overseers and Churchwardens of St Mary's parish in the Truro Poor Law Union, enclosing an emigration form. This was returned with the letter on 27 January 1849. A list and description of those persons seeking to emigrate from St Mary's in the Truro Poor Law Union to Port Phillip [Australia]. Those listed are Richard Mathews and his unnamed wife, son and two daughters. The form has not been signed by the parish officers. Annotated: noted 9 February 1849. Paper Number: 2916/1849.
