Description | Folio 398. Letter from Richard Chapman for R M Hodge [Richard Michell Hodge], Clerk to the Guardians of the Truro Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, informing them that the master of St Clement's Workhouse has reported to the Board that he has five more inmates than the limit set by the Poor Law Commissioners. The Board are taking steps to reduce the number to the prescribed limit. Annotated: request to be informed when the number shall have been reduced within the limit.
