Description | Folios 400-401. Appointment form sent by R M Hodge [Richard Michell Hodge], Clerk to the Guardians of the Truro Poor Law Union to the Poor Law Board, for John Moyle as Medical Officer for the West Kenwyn District. The form shows Moyle of Chacewater near Truro, was at present the Medical Officer of the Kea District. The salary to be £25 per annum. The post became vacant after the previous Medical Officer, M G Painter [[Matthew George Painter] resigned on leaving the area.
