Description | Folio 448. Letter from William Nichols, Master of Probus Workhouse, [Truro Poor Law Union], to the Poor Law Board, acknowledging their letter [of 21 March 1849]. He explains that the previous master did not keep a clothing register book and failed to inform him of its necessity.
