Description | Folio 464. Letter from R M Hodge [Richard Michell Hodge], Clerk to the Guardians of the Truro Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, replying to their letter of 25 April 1849, by informing them that the board of guardians has contracted for the purchase of land for the proposed workhouse and the title is under investigation.
