Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to Samuel Jewel, Medical Officer for the Tregony District in the Truro Poor Law Union, acknowledging his letter of 18 June 1849 relating to the refusal of the guardians to pay claims for services rendered by his son as his assistant in two midwifery cases.
