Description | Folios 592-593. Letter from R M Hodge [Richard Michell Hodge], Clerk to the Guardians of the Truro Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, enclosing copy of letter and resolution sent on 13 September 1849. These refer to the guardians' acceptance of the lowest tender (£8,521 15s from Mr Pryor) for building the new union workhouse, at a sum greater than that originally proposed. Annotated: refer to the communication of 24 September. Paper Number: 37036/1849. Poor Law Union Number 57. Counties: Cornwall. |
