Description | Folio 232. Draft letter from Poor Law Board to John D Taylor [John Dobede Taylor], Clerk to the Guardians of the Bishops Stortford Poor Law Union, acknowledging letter of 3 April 1851, which informed them that the vestry of Much Hadham had resolved that a new map of the parish is unnecessary for the purposes of a new Valuation. The Board wish to inform the guardians that under these circumstances they can only issue an order for a new valuation of the parish. Paper Number: 14834/1851. Poor Law Union Number 167.
