Description | Folio 276. Draft letter from Poor Law Board to John D Taylor, Clerk to the Bishops Stortford Union, acknowledging receipt of letter of 5 June 1851, which reported the resignations of the schoolmaster and schoolmistress of the union. The Board asks whether Taylor alludes to William Saville and Jane Harris, and, 'if so, that you will state the cause of their resignations, so far as it may be known to you'.
