| Description | Folio 514. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to Samuel Emson, Collector of the Poor Rates for the parish of Bishops Stortford, concerning his duties under the General Order for Accounts in regard to the collection of poor rates. The letter points out the necessity of acting in strict conformity with the regulations of the General Order of Accounts and warns that the Board will take serious notice of any neglect or non-observance of these regulations.
