Description | Folio 520. Letter from Thomas Lawrence, Assistant Overseer in the parish of Furneaux Pelham in the Bishops Stortford Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board. Lawrence states that he was not aware that he was required to provide a bond to the guardians, but that he will see the clerk immediately to make the necessary arrangements. Annotated: write to the clerk, refer to the board's letter of 28 July, ask whether the assistant overseers have given security. Set out their names and parishes. Paper Number: 30592/1852.
