Description | Folio 101. Note from A A [Alfred Austin, Assistant Poor Law Commissioner], Birmingham, [Warwickshire], to the Poor Law Commission. He has made enquiries anticipating the fitness of Mitchell Farrington for the office of Relieving Officer for Bewdley. He recommends that the Commissioners confirm his appointment. Annotated: the former salary was £100. Ascertain whether a reduction has been agreed to. Reduction of salary sanctioned 25 May 1843, see 5960/B/1843. Sanction 13 July 1843. Poor Law Union Number 530. Counties: Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire. |
