Description Folio 233. Letter from Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission. Advice is sought concerning the apprenticing of poor children by the guardians, and inquiring as to whether there are any changes in the regulations since the passing of the recent act [7& 8 Vic c 101 s 12]. Annotated: the guardians are now to 'bind' instead of the overseers. Write accordingly. Paper Number: 17697/B/1844. Poor Law Union Number 530. Counties: Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
