Description | Folio 349. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union. It is stated that the auditor acted correctly in refusing to reimburse expenses incurred by the overseer for employing a surveyor. A new valuation can only be authorised under the provisions of the parochial assessment act. This does not appear to be required. Paper Number: 16159/B/1845. Poor Law Union Number 530. Counties: Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire. |
