Description | Folio 468. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union, regarding John Gethin, Collector appointed for Kidderminster Foreign under the Commissioners' order 6 December 1836 and also appointed Assistant Overseer. They state that under 7& 8 Vic c 101 s 61 the inhabitants in vestry assembled have power to appoint the collector as assistant overseer under the Commissioners' order 6 December 1836, at a salary they think fit. Paper Number: 10244/B/1846. Poor Law Union Number 530. Counties: Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire. |
