Description | Folio 547. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Joseph Stevens, Master of the Kidderminster Workhouse, regarding disallowance in accounts. They state that they have received a communication from Thomas Farrington, late overseer of Bewdley, indicating his refusal to repay sums deducted from the pension of a pauper, John Griffin. They ask for an explanation and the reasons he refuses to repay them. Paper Number: 16045/B/1846. Poor Law Union Number 530. Counties: Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire. |
